Yeah, me too. At least that was me a few years ago. Lost in a day dream and the struggle of lack. I didn't have what I wanted. Life wasn't on my side. I spent so much time partying with my pity on the inside, it's no wonder I was miserable on the outside too.
So, I made a choice to make a change. AND THEN GUESS WHAT?!
I MADE THE FUCKING CHANGE!!
That's the operative part here. I didn't just make a plan of action that I set aside for a better time and an easier day. I didn't make up excuses on the daily for why it wasn't going to work right now. I didn't whine about how hard it was... okay, I probably did. At least a little. I didn't let anyone else and their plan or ideas for me and my life derail my goal. I just went through the motions.
Day in and day out.
It didn't happen right away. Slowly but surely I made progress. Once I started to feel better, it motivated me. I was no longer on a wish and a prayer but also the real live example of a better life.
Just to be clear:
I gave up on trying to find that ONE supplement or that ONE practitioner who was going to offer me a cure. Chances are pretty darn good that it isn't one thing that got you into the situation you are trying to find your way out of. And it's probably not going to be one solution either. Unless you lump it all together and that one solution is: START... and don't stop. Consistence and persistence is where you are going to find your pay day.
That holds true no matter how you define your pay day. Whatever it is you are searching, the root of it is peace and joy. Wanna short cut the short cut? Stop trying to chase what you think will bring you peace and joy and just head straight to the peace and straight to the joy.
You aren't going to be magically healed over night. You didn't get in this position of misery over night either. Be willing to invest as much into your health as you have your lack of health. Health being your physical, mental, and emotional state.
What makes you happy?
Who makes you feel good?
Where can you go that you feel free spirited and clear minded?
When are you most likely to feel down and out?
Get really clear on who you are and how you can best support yourself. Then make it a priority to become your own best friend. You cannot give to someone else something that you don't already have. Love? Forgiveness? If that doesn't reside within you and for you, you won't be able to give it to anyone. Nope... not anyone!
If nothing changes, then nothing changes.
Get busy and do a little of the 'hard' stuff. You are so worth it. You won't regret it.
